ASME SEC V UT CALIBRATION BLOCK (3/4″ THICK)

The Asme Sec V ¾ block is used for obtaining primary reference responses in ultrasonic inspection of welds. The calibration block is made with 1 laterally drilled hole on one face (at 3/32″ diameter, 1.75″ deep, located through the thickness at 1/2T), 2 laterally drilled holes on the opposite face (at 3/32″ diameter, 1. 75″ deep, located through the thickness at ¼ and 3/4T), 2 EDM notches on the top and bottom faces, both sized at 2%T deep x 1/8″ wide x 1-3/8″ long.

Customization available if needed for notches and holes. Reference block is manufactured in accordance with ASME Sec V Art 4 Fig. T-434.2.1.
