The Asme Sec V ¾ block is used for obtaining primary reference responses in ultrasonic inspection of primary reference welds in ultrasonic inspection of welds. The calibration block is manufactured with 1 laterally drilled hole on one face (at 3/32“ diameter, 1.75” deep, located through the thickness at 1/2T), 2 laterally drilled holes on the opposite face (at 3/32“ diameter, 1.75” deep, located through the thickness at ¼ and 3/4T), 2 EDM notches on the top and bottom faces, both sized 2%T deep x 1/8“ wide x 1-3/8” long.
Customization available if required for notches and holes. Reference block is manufactured in accordance with ASME Sec V Art 4 Fig. T-434.2.1.
