Computed Radiography Cassettes (CR)
Waygate Technologies cassettes, formerly known as GE Inspection Technologies, are designed specifically for NDT applications. CR cassettes are lightweight and very easy to use. The synthetic material provides maximum rigidity for overall durability.
The higher radiation energies used in industrial X-ray make it impossible to use standard medical cassettes. Therefore, the cassettes can be supplied with integrated 200 μm (0.008″) copper (Cu) front screens and are always backed by 200 μm (0.008″) copper to ensure optimum protection against backscatter, resulting in optimal image quality.
