IIW TYPE 2 UT (IMPERIAL) CALIBRATION BLOCK

Manufactured in accordance with the specifications of the International Institute of Welding, ASTM E164 and U.S. Air Force NDI Manual T.O. 33B-1-1, the IIW-Type 2 (IIW-Type 1 modified version) is used for the purposes described below:

• Calibration of sensitivity, distance, resolution, and horizontal linearity on Straight Beam Transducers.
• Calibration of beam index, sound path angle, distance time base and distance sensitivity curve on angle beam transducers.
